Lingsoft Launches Proofing Tool for QuarkXPress 7
Helsinki, February 21h, 2008 - Lingsoft Proofreader for Quark 7, a proofing tool tried and tested in such as Microsoft Office applications, is now also available as a QuarkXPress plug-in. The application comes in five different languages – Danish, Finnish, German, Norwegian bokmål and Swedish – and it is available for Windows and Mac. The program involves a high-quality hyphenator and spell checker with a custom dictionary.Publishers can boost their performance without compromising on quality
The powerful spelling and hyphention tools of Lingsoft Proofreader for Quark 7 are based on Lingsoft's renowned two-level morphology. The new Proofing Tool
- recognizes every grammatically acceptable derivative form in the relevant basic lexicon including related compounds and inflections
- based on a morphological word analysis, identifies syllabic boundaries and makes the correct suggestion in a majority of cases
- supports the native user interfaces of QuarkXPress and QuarkCopyDesk
- supports custom dictionaries and hyphenation rules
